The earliest versions of the mod were intended to be a Monika mod with comedic elements.įirst public announcement of the mod was made on January 1st of 2018 (New Years Day). That name continued to be used until the end of December, when it was decided to rename the mod to Special Days. The mod was originally named under the working title 'Monika's Day'. Solitary development of Special Days was started by its original author Wyrmcast on December 10th, 2017.
The other major route is the so-called 'Sayori glitched route,' which in actuality has little to do with Sayori. The main 'Monika route' continues through the festival. The mod has branching choices and there are two major routes.
